Foreign currency exchange
We exchange foreign currency from a number of countries. Our commitment to our customers is to exchange your money efficiently and safely. We offer the unique advantage of maintaining major foreign currencies onsite. Our fee is 1.5% of the exchanged value, with a minimum fee of $3.75. Currency exchange requires some form of ID – either a U.S. driver’s license, state-issued ID, or U.S. or foreign passport. We have a limit of $1000 USD per person per day for the total amount exchanged, and take only debit card or cash as payment for foreign currency.
*No foreign coins are accepted.
Wright Foreign Currency Exchange can only buy currencies that are currently in circulation in any particular country. You can check online whether your currency is in circulation before visiting our office.
Information about rates
We can give you current rates by phone, however, rates do change without notice. If rates have changed, they will vary when you actually come to our office to complete your transaction. In addition, you may find more favorable rates when searching online. We offer competitive rates to other foreign exchange businesses, but the rates do vary from other services from time to time, for a specific currency. We are offering the convenience of our immediate exchange capability with our knowledgeable professionals rather than waiting for money to be shipped to you.
For currencies on the buying list, but that we do not sell, we can special order for an additional $25.00 fee. Payment must be made in advance, and the expected order time is five to seven days. Currency availability is subject to change based on the availability of currency to us.
